July 9, 2008
July 9, 2008 - NewsBusters - CBS reported on Wednesday that high cost for gasoline is hurting everyone including charities.

Josh,
Thanks for checking in. It looks like you are involved in alternative energy. Your site is very interesting in alternatives for powering our homes. We have solar and are still using power from the PG&E grid. And we are told it will take about 5 years to recoup the cost of installing the equipment from our energy savings. However, thes will not solve our gasoline crisis. All cars use gasoline (or ethanol) unless they are completely electric. Unfortunately to power all the cars if we went to electric in one day would create havoc. California is on Flex-Alerts now and are threatening power outages this summer. Imagine if everyone had to plug in their car what would happen! – Editor
