When did we become hyphenated Americans? What’s wrong with being just an American? Is it too boring? IN our politically correct society, I think it segregates people rather than unites them.
For example, John is an American. But when I say he is an African-American, you get a different picture; neither good nor bad, just different. Afterall, tell me what an American looks like. You can’t. We all came here, with the exception of American Indians, from other places, different colors, different religions, to unite under a common cause for liberty. I see no reason to continue the division.
Spin, spin, spin. As I watch Fox this morning, “Wall Street Works To Extend Big Rally Into A Second Day”, never mind that it’s been in a free fall since Obama was elected President! It has fallen over several thousand points, but this two day rally is going to make us all happy and forget that over-spending is going to ruin our country?
