I am livid. I have been a registered Republican since before 1995. I am a conservative on most issues and have tried to get on the MCRCC at the county level for 3 months since there has been a vacancy. However, it seems that the “powers that be” have a “difference of opinion” of who makes a good candidate and who does not.
I was told this morning that all 3 remaining district member must agree in order to be considered for the nomination in my district. It appears that this is a manipulation of the California Election code which I may pursue. What the leaders don’t realize is that I am a better ally than I am an enemy. There will be more to come on this as the days go by! But the truth is, these people must be defeated in the next election cycle.
The county meeting is this Thursday.
