Compromise? There is no compromise on Cap and Trade! Democrat Henry Waxman is trying to kill our energy business by playing “green”. If Republicans give in on this, they have opened the door to more and more regulation. This is how the liberals do it.
Look at every tax starting with tobacco that has now morphed into this huge tax grab by liberal policians. You see, if Republicans compromise, they say the premise is okay. Once they do that, then it opens the door for more and more regulation.
Fortunately, it is only Democrats who are on boad now. I urge Republicans to stand strong against this. If our gas and energy prices start to skyrocket, they will have had no part in this ridiculous legislation and can defeat the Democrats in the next election, if this his played right.
