A Blue Dog Democrat Is Still a Democrat

…However, none of them showed up when Obama made an appearance in North Carolina. Why is that, you say? Because he is pushing his unpopular health care agenda and these people do not want to be associated with a plan that is extremely unpopular with voters in that state.
To be commended (right now) are Congressmen Mike McIntyre (elected in 2006), Heath Schuler (elected in 2006) and Larry Kissell (elected in 2006). The reason they were elected is because they appeared to be more conservative than the Republican candidates. They were recruited by Rahm Emmanuel as part of a strategy to win back the house. It worked, but now Emmanuel and the Obama administration are trying to get them to go against their constituents with the health care bill promising them they will not be re-elected if they buck the President. WRONG! They will lose their seats if they support his socialist agenda and their constituents find out.
Rest assured we are going to let every single North Carolina reader exactly how they vote! They will seal their own fate. It will not be Rahm Emmanuel’s call!
