Why is Obama making health care, an unpopular issue, his signature legislation? He has said if this fails, his presidency fails. Why would anyone with the high approval numbers he was experiencing early in his presidency, suddenly grasp onto this horrible health care plan as the ONE program he wants to define his legacy?
In my heart, I believe he doesn’t care about his popularity as much as he cares about his ideology, and push a socialist agenda. It is what he is. In HIS heart he sees the US as an evil, racist, greedy nation and himself as a socialist, even more than he sees himself as the president.
Why else would he be so gung-ho on this legislation? Because it would mean moving forward two of his agenda items:
- Expand government
