Pelosi Cries? Give Me A Break!

According to the San Francisco Chronicle today, Pelosi teared up when thinking about the political discourse and anger that is happening today, comparing it to the violence that happened when Harvey Milk and Mayor Moscone were assassinated.
“Finally regaining control, she expressed a wish that “we would all, again, curb our enthusiasm in some of the statements that are made,” and “take responsibility” for what they say, “because “the ears that it is falling on are not as balanced as the person making the statement might assume.”
“Pelosi’s comments come after the House chastized Rep. Joe Wilson for shouting out, “You lie,” during President Obama’s address to Congress last week, part of an insurgent politics of anger that is gaining ground in public discourse.
“Pelosi also vowed in no uncertain terms that “a public option will be in the bill that passes the House,” throwing down the gauntlet to Senate moderates who oppose a government-run option in health care legislation.
“Pelosi called “inexcusable” the recently revealed actions of the liberal community activist group ACORN, under intense fire after its workers were caught on undercover videos urging unlawful behavior. (Here’sthe one from the faux prostitutes in San Bernadino.) Republicans claimDemocrats, including Pelosi, have sheltered the group, but now it’s clearly radioactive on Capitol Hill.”
Here’s the breakdown:
- If we need to take responsibility for what we say, it must apply to both Democrats and Republicans. Nancy need to take responsibility for calling the CIA liars saying she wasn’t told about the enhanced interrogation methods. LIE!
- People are angry because politicians like Pelosi and Obama are ignoring what the people want!
- Perfect example. The public option is the MOST unpopular part of the government health care plan and she refuses to let it go. The reason? More power for the Democrats because it will force health care workers into government unions which invariably vote Democrat.
- Once again Pelosi, one of the people who championed the funding for ACORN is now pretending she is outraged by their behavior… because they have been caught?
What a phony. She needs to either step down or Republicans need to take back the house so she can be relegated to the dustbin of history! Good riddance!
