So Iran is now talking to the US. Some people think, “See? All we needed to do was reach out. That Bush was evil, but now Obama has Iran talking to us. That’s how peace starts.”
Here’s the problem. Iran wants to wipe out Israel. That is not peaceful. They are still saying the same thing as they were saying when we weren’t talking to them. Then, today they announce they do have nuclear capability, and Obama wants to put sanctions on Iran.
Talk about a rope-a-dope (with the emphasis on DOPE). Iran’s president has just put one over on the US. With Obama in charge, it has been easy for them to manipulate the situation. They see weakness and are exploiting it.
They are not talking to us. They are talking AT us. There is a difference.
