Watch Tonight – Down to the Wire on Health Care
March 16, 2010
It’s down to the wire. A vote is expected this week on President Obama’s massive health care overhaul bill. Tonight at 8:30 p.m. EDT, FRC Action will host a live video webcast entitled, “National Townhall on Health Care: Stop the Government Takeover.” We’ve invited Members of Congress, policy experts, and grassroots leaders to join us live at our Washington, D.C. headquarters to help us assess the pending health care overhaul as a vote in Congress looms. Confirmed participants include:
- Host: Tony Perkins, President, FRC Action
- Congressman Mike Pence (R-Ind.)
- Congressman Tom Price, M.D. (R-Ga.)
- Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.)
- Bryan Fischer, Director of Issue Analysis, American Family Association
- Kristan Hawkins, Executive Director, Students for Life
- Marjorie Dannenfelser, President, Susan B. Anthony List
- Douglas Johnson, Legislative Director, National Right to Life
- Tom McClusky, Senior Vice President, FRC Action
Our guests will also answer your questions on the health care bill via SMS text and email.
Take Action: President Obama and Speaker Pelosi are pressuring members of Congress to vote “yes.” Republicans, pro-life Democrats and some moderate Democrats are opposed because of abortion funding and cost. But the votes are very close! We need you to call your Representative and ask him/her to oppose any government takeover. Call the Capitol Switchboard at (202) 224-3121, or click here to look up the direct line to your representative followed by some helpful talking points.
Watch tonight’s live webcast at 8:30 p.m. EDT. Click here for more information.
Sincerely,

Tony Perkins
President
