Random thoughts at the end of the day:
Fool me once on the stimulus, shame on you. Fool me twice on the second stimulus, shame on me! And speaking of shame on him, what happened to Obama’s Pay/Go?
Politicians are like ambulance chasing lawyers. Something happens and the politician promises legislation to permanently fix the problem regardless of the truth OR whether it really works OR even if it causes other unintended consequences.
Government can fix the problems with health care. Right. Last year the Post Office changed the rules on how mailings must be done. The line “Or Current Resident” must be under the recipients’ names. This way if the adressee has moved the people who live at that address will get the item. Problem is, the post office won’t deliver it anyway! Imagine these guys running our health care!
The problem with Palin resigning as governor of Alaska because of law suits, what makes her think it’s going to stop if she runs for president? Actually, it will probably ratchet up. These liberal scumbags will continue to abuse the process by bringing lawsuit after lawsuit. Why can’t Republicans do that to Obama? Surely the birth certificate question has merit. Let’s play their game!
Karen Bass is an idiot. Instead of meeting for the California budget negotiations, she said she couldn’t get a flight from Los Angeles to Sacramento. First time flyer?
I would like to see what normally happens to the stock market after a new president gets elected. There probably is a study out there, or I could chase it down myself. But it seems to me that six months into the Obama presidency, the market is much worse than it was with Bush. Unemployment is much higher, close to 10%, and Democrats say nothing though they were all over Bush when it was at approximately 5%.
Liberals call in these talk shows and are for the health care. Time after time the give these sob stories about how they can’t get coverage. Bull crap. They can get $5,000 deductible catastrophic health insurance that includes prescription coverage with a small co-pay. I’ve got it for myself. The big question? Why do they expect everyone else to pay for their health care?
The health plan will kill old people, and baby boomers better beware they will be the next ones left in the dust as end-of-life counseling will pretty much rule out any expensive life-saving procedures. Remember, our elected officials will not be required to be in the same plan as the rest of us. Talk about ruling elites! This is outrageous in a country that was founded on “all men are created equal”. Voters of both parties should be upset at this and push back as hard as possible.
Rush Limbaugh reported on Andrea Mitchell, NBC News, who was talking to another reporter about the proposed caps on wall street executives. The reason we have health care as part of employee benefits was because of salary caps during the depression. The reason we had stock options was because of salary caps before the last stock market melt-down. Anyway, the other reporter said to Andrea something to the effect that here is Obama earning over $300,000 while criticizing stock market executives for making so much. Her response was he worked hard and earned that money from writing his books. Rush didn’t catch it, but what he should have said was, “and the stock market executive don’t?” Not all of them are bad. And whose business is it anyway how much they are being paid? It’s a private contract between a busines and its employee.

News Flash – Global Warming is Solved! Planet is Cooling!
What if environmentalists were right and all the things we have been doing to reverse the effects of man-made global warming have worked? Certainly we are entering a new cooling period so isn’t the problem solved? Why are they still pushing their agenda? What if it pushes us into a new ice age? And isn’t that just as bad?
Who says any one temperature is the perfect temperature and how do we control that anyway? After all, it’s weather. Message to global warming alarmists, “Try and control a hurricane or a tornado, you wind bags!”
This cap and trade bill is much more a tax legislation than it is to help the economy. India knows this. They blew us off at the global summit and know these standards would retard their growth. We should listen to them!

Glenn Beck – Google searches mean economic troubles are over
Larry Summers, Obama’s top economic advisor, sees some strong evidence that the economy is out of free fall. We apologize if the following has too much financial lingo for the average person to understand, but this is really good news. Summers says the recent decrease in Google searches for ‘economic depression’ are down to normal levels. Yes, that is correct, and Summers is a ‘top’ economic advisor.
