Warren Buffett predicts massive inflation thanks to economic policies of unbridled deficit spending from our government… but he still likes Barack Obama.
Speaking of which, I saw an Internet e-mail about Obama filing for financial aid as a foreign student while at Occidental College under the name Barry Soetoro. The story was in the AP and Britain’s Daily Mail. It was scrubbed from the Arizona Sentinel which might indicate it is a fake. We’ll see. There are court cases pending challenging his legitimacy as our president by being foreign born.

All the talk today was about this so called GOP summit that took place over the weekend. They are trying to reenergize the party. So where was Sarah Palin? She can energize a room just by being there, but was she invited? No. Had she not been the VP nominee for McCain, he would not have gotten as many votes as he did, I am convinced.
What they keep missing is this: conservatism. If they would start talking about that, the party would get energized. But all we keep hearing about is this attempt to “re-brand” the Republican Party and make it something like the Democrat Party, only better. Tom Delay dealt with that in his book. And his denial of that strategy helped Republicans win the house and senate for the first time in many years. So why is it so hard for these GOP geniuses to grasp that? It’s beyond me. If they go down the NCNA path, we will lose yet another election!
It is clear these people are politicians not statesmen who are pandering to different groups to buy votes. It’s not how conservatism works. What should be done is to look at all people, rich or poor, black or white or anything in between as AMERICANS! The United States guarantees equal opportunity under the Constitution, not equal outcome. But Republicans, in trying to be compassionate, are loathe to tell the truth for fear of offending a constituent. But pandering takes us down the wrong path, one that will lose the next election unless that someone comes along who can articulate a conservative message!

Who is the Democratic Underground? A bunch of liberal malcontents who sit around and criticize conservatives because they have no ideas of their own. Bashing is all they can do. They have no ideas.
They recently brought up Ayn Rand and her writings as having a resurgence because conservatives have no new ideas of their own. WAKE UP, Democratic Underground. There are no new ideas! And your socialist ideals are some of the oldest in the world!
Forever humans have been obsessed with getting what’s rightfully theirs. But now, new socialists want to take what others produce and redistribute it among themselves rather than try and produce anything of value themselves. It is precisely because they have nothing to offer that they want to tear down Rand.
What these neo-nazis don’t realize, their Democrat leaders do not see them as equals, only as useful idiots. A bunch of stooges. If not, wouldn’t all those trillions of dollars somehow find their way into the liberals’ pockets? But it never does, thus it is the MAN who is keeping them down. Pitiful.
My suggestion? Go out and use that hateful energy to create something that serves mankind and maybe you will one day be in a position where government can take what YOU own and give it to the people do contribute nothing to society! WAKE UP!

You would think Warren Buffett, with all his wealth and prestige, would be able to tell the truth. Today he praised the actions of the government, even though they are in direct contrast to the free market principles that made him rich! Buffett is an Obama supporter so it would be hard to disrespect the guy he voted for. But the truth is… Obama is doing it WRONG!
You can’t bailout failing corporations and expect them to turn things around. Afterall, they have been doing things wrong for years to get them in this situation, so throwing money at a problem only prolongs the inevitable… and so it did. Last week Chrysler declared bankruptcy, even after the billions of dollars infused into it by us taxpayers. So Obama’s plan failed since the company had to file chapter 11 anyway! Good plan, Mr. President! Experts think this is what’s in store for GM as well. We’ll see. With unions now owning almost 35% of the company, the failure would be a bigger deal. Read the article here.
Yet Buffett praises the economic plan. WHY? It isn’t working. He admitted today the economy wasn’t coming back. Even a financial genius like that should be touting the merits of a free market economy, not the communist-style take over of private corporations by the government! He is obviously past his expiration date.

Everyday we are fighting our representatives who continually choose to do things that are unconstitutional. It is tiring, yet they never give up. At the speed the Democrats are moving we should be a socialist dictatorship in less than a year. It makes me sad.
America, the once great beacon of hope and prosperity will be sent back to the minors with leaders like Pelosi, Reid, Obama, Feinstein and so on taking us back to the dark ages. It will take years to overcome. But make no mistake we will take the country back.
What these imbeciles fail to realize is that they have overstepped. Once their failed policies start to drive up gas prices and hurt the common folks, you will see outrage like never before. We saw a sampling of that back when gas prices were near $5 a gallon. By the time it happens again, there will be nobody to blame. Bush will have been long gone.
What will also happen is hyper inflation. You think things are bad now, wait until the economy starts to perk up. The years of Jimmy Carter will look like a success compared to what we are in for. Elections have consequences all right, but what people fail to realize is.. the consequences are going to be BAD!
About half the people voted against Obama. He did not have this huge majority like the media wants us to think. Polling data shows his policies are not seen favorably by the majority of people though his personal popularity is still very high. So was Bush’s. People didn’t hate George Bush, what they hated was his policies… liberal Democrat policies in most cases.
With automobile manufacturers on the ropes and the financial institutions not far behind, it is hard for me to believe the pundits who say economic recovery is just around the corner. The government is doing everything it can to stifle that recovery. They have given almost half of GM to the unions while demoting investors to the bottom rung. A report today says people are sitting on their money. Savings have never been so high. Know why that is? Because nobody wants to take a chance of investing and then having the rug pulled out from under them and given over to somebody else.
I predict Obama’s policies will have dire consequences down the road. They can not succeed since they are based in unbridled optimism of government and not on sound economic principles. Democrats and liberals seem to love the direction he is taking us, but we’ll see when unemployment starts hitting 20% and gas is over $5 a gallon. People will be looking for heads to roll, and Obama will be the Soros fall guy! Mark my words. This will happen.

Apparently many Democrats are angry at Harry Reid who made a deal with Arlen Specter to keep his seniority in the senate that he racked up serving as a Republican. HUH? Democrats should be mad. Look at the lengths Reid will go to in order to get a filibuster proof majority! So far that he is willing to anger senators in his own party.
The best part about all of this is, Reid may not even be re-elected in the 2010! So he has nothing to lose… except his senate seat.
From the LA Times:
Oops, not so fast with the feel-good vibes coming out of the Senate Democratic Caucus.
Turns out that one day after Pennsylvania Sen. Arlen Specter thrilled Democrats and stunned Republicans by defecting to the Blue Caucus, some of his new allies on the Democratic side are miffed.
The reason: Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada, in negotiations before the announcement, promised Specter he could keep the seniority he’d accrued as a Republican on powerful committees such as Appropriations and Judiciary. There is of course precedence for this. Think Connecticut Sen. Joe Lieberman, who left the Democratic Party to run as an independent but was allowed to keep his chairmanship of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, even though he endorsed his friend John McCain over Barack Obama in last year’s presidential election.
That did not sit well with some senators who stand to be passed over for subcommittee chairmanships because of Specter, and who shared their concerns with The Hill.
So much for singing kumbaya!

Obama wants a label for his legacy like the New Deal or the Great Society. I have a suggestion. How about the RAW DEAL?
Now Citibank has to go to the Treasury to get permission to pay bonuses! What else would you call that? A RAW DEAL.
Government bails out GM and what happens to the bond holders? Here are the numbers:
- GM Bond holders bought bonds totaling $27 billion and only get 10%
- United Auto Workers who get PAID to work in the factories put in $10 billion and now own 40%
- Government put in $15 billion and ends up with 50%
What else would you call that except a RAW DEAL?

I have had this opinion for a long time. Back when Jumpin’ Jim Jeffords left the Republican party to become an independent, I welcomed the change, but wondered if there shouldn’t be some rule that if a politician changes parties in the middle of his term when people elected a certain party, shouldn’t that politician step down and run on the other ticket the next time?
If I had voted for Jeffords simply because he was the only choice as Republican against a liberal Democrat, I would have been furious when he changed parties on me. I would have demanded my campaign contribution back.
Joe Lieberman was beaten as a Democract in the primaries and changed parties to Independent for the election. That is the way to do it. Not change after he is in office.
Now Arlen Specter has switched sides. But he is again doing it after Pennsylvanians elected him as a Republican. This should be illegal. He should have to resign and let a Republican take over the rest of his term, then run as a Democrat in the next election. Besides, who says Democrats want him anyway? Didn’t he vote against card check legislation?
This is one election law that needs to be changed. If people vote for a candidate because of his party affiliation and he changes parties in the middle of his term (especially because he is going to be defeated in the next primary) then he should step down and run in the next election as the other party’s candidate.

My last article dealt with the enviromental lunacy going on in our country. Here is another example.
A lot of plastic goes into the making of those laser print cartridges. They take up a lot of space in landfills and surely there is a lot of material (plastic) there that can be recycled. So what kind of value does Staples put on it to save the planet???
$0.01 per cartridge. Don’t you think if we were saving the planet by recycling these things it would be worth more to the world than a penny a laser cartridge? The answer is no because first of all, it will not save the planet, second of all, the planet is not in trouble, and third of all, most of these cartridges are ending up in the garbage anyway!

I’m angry at this country and what the citizens are letting happen to it.
If you were certain that cutting your lawn led to cancer wouldn’t you stop mowing the lawn? Well, Al Gore says that our lifestyles are causing global warming, but yet he refuses to do with less. He has one of the biggest carbon foot prints of just about anyone in the United States, so why isn’t he leading the charge and living in a hut and riding a bicycle instead of jet setting around the world in his huge jet spewing his global warming nonsense?
I’ll tell you why. Because it’s a LIE! He’s a liar and will be proven so as the earth continues to cool thanks to less solar activity. What A-Gore (two letters off from A-Hole) doesn’t seem to understand that nature is the ultimate authority on climate change, not him, and it’s called… WEATHER! What a dunce. There are three people who really make me angry and he is one of them.
The second one is Nancy Pelosi. The witch of San Francisco was one of the ones told about the interrogation methods and now she conveniently LIES and says she wasn’t. Just listening to her stammer and stutter in her explanations as she tries to lie her way out of it is nauseating. If she were telling the truth, it would be easy. But she winds her way through the story conveniently choosing her words so she doesn’t have to tell the truth… exactly.
It’s like the old story about the two married people who are cheating on their spouses and check into a hotel. The clerk asks, “Are you married?” They both answer yes because they are… just not to each other. It’s the truth, it’s just not honest. That’s Pelosi to a TEE! Another A-Hole.
The third one is Obama himself. What an arrogant son-of-a-bitch. He is constantly on the television shooting off his mouth about the propaganda he is peddling. Here’s what’s going to happen with health care now that the senate has made it impossible to filabuster the legislation. We’re getting health care whether we like it or not. What’s going to happen? I’m making a prediction here and now:
Fat people (mostly poor people) will be screwed. Once they find out that they will not be treated for onset diabetes or heart conditions because they didn’t watch their weight we probably won’t hear about it. The press is in the bag for this idiot man child. And if you smoke (mostly poor people) you will also be denied cancer treatment because you didn’t quit. I am betting that is you even have a history of smoking and quit, then come down with some form of lung cancer, your treatment will be denied. It’s a form of rationing because to give 100% health care to everyone for everything will just cost too much. But you won’t hear that from the news media.
I want to go on record that I don’t want nameless, faceless bureaucrats in charge of my health care decisions. I do not want $1000 of my paycheck to go to the government to pay for a $50 procedure. But over time it’s going to cost us much more than we will ever get back, just like Social Security, Medicare, Unemployment Insurance and Disability. What a sad day for America.
Remember, Democrats. What you did in the Senate can now be done by Republicans when they win it back in 2010. I don’t want to hear any wining about “minority party rights”. Elections have consequences, you spineless a-holes.
