Sean Hannity’s show really hacks me off. Don’t misunderstand, I like him. I just don’t like many of his callers. It’s one thing to listen to an Obama supporter that give a sane reason for liking what the guy is doing, even if it is misguided. But most of the liberal callers sound like uneducated people out of work and have time to call in to the show.
It’s one thing to say what Obama is doing has been great and then list the things he’s done. But just because you say it, doesn’t make it so. There needs to be proof to support the statement. There is none. Since George Bush has left office, our economy is worse. Our stock market is worse. Gas prices are higher and if congress has its way with cap and trade they will skyrocket. Unemployment is twice as high as it was under Bush. So what has the guy done that garners this praise?
I was listening today to the fill in host and there was some idiot caller who started off by insulting Sean Hannity. Then he went on to talk about how bad things would have been with a 70 year old in the White House. When the guest host pointed out that Obama had never done anything but stand on the street with a clip board as a community organizer, the flip answer from the caller was about “what a great president the man is.” Again, what has he done that has improved our country?
Our deficit is much higher than when Bush was in office. Our national debt stands to skyrocket in the next few years with more deficit spending. Obama spent billions of taxpayer dollars to avoid bankruptcy of several car companies that ended up declaring bankruptcy anyway!
Soon we’ll be on government health care and everyone will be on a waiting list for treatment.
Like Steve Martin said in one of his movies, “Ah, good plan!”

Make no mistake, this is another piece of legislation we have to fight. Check out End22.com and you will see what the liberal nutcases want for your future! Six months into Obama’s presidency and the economy isn’t bad enough for them. They tout Roosevelt as a great man when he actually extended the depression by his poor economic policies. Now they want the same for Obama. THESE PEOPLE ARE NUTS! I have hear this is being discussed in congress. What they don’t realize is, this could mean the next Republican could run for LIFE!

FDR died early in his fourth term after serving three full, successful terms. It was his leadership that brought our great country out of Economic Crisis and War.
Congress passed the 22nd Amendment on March 21, 1947 to limit future Presidents to two terms and took the choice out of the hands of the American People, where it belongs.
History has no way of determining what would have happened to the United States if Roosevelt had been limited to two terms and had been unable to lead us out of the Great Depression and through World War II. With our current crisis, the American People need to take back their right to elect the leader of their choice. The task is too large and the risk is too great – we must act now!

Why would anyone give the Huffington Post, a liberal blog, the status of a legitimate news agency? Answer: because they will print any propaganda the administration wants to put out without a question.
While even Helen Thomas chastises Obama’s press secretary for manipulating the press conferences, the HuffPo (or HuffPOO as we call them) will obediently print anything Obama puts out. The Huffington Compost is electronic and not on paper so it is not even valuable as a bird cage liner or to wipe someone’s behind. It is worthless liberal political propganda and everyone knows it. But Obama treats them as a legitimate news outlet, and the real press is angry about it. Zsa Zsa is miffed!

Well before Barack Obama brought hope to the White House, Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi was adamant that something new and different and wonderful had arrived. In 2006, the incoming Speaker pledged that hers would be the “most honest, most open, and most ethical Congress in history.”
At the time, we were skeptical — to say the least. Our refusal to accept her rhetoric was roundly vindicated last week. That was when Madam-Speaker used every dirty trick at her disposal to coldly ram a 1,500 page global warming bill through the House of Representatives.

Last Friday, I stood on the House floor and went line-by-line through 300 pages of Speaker Pelosi’s national energy tax (also known as “cap and trade”). For more than an hour I highlighted dozens of provisions that will destroy American jobs, raise prices for gasoline and electricity, and devastate middle-class families and small businesses.
Democrats didn’t like their plans being exposed like that and tried to shut me down.
Now I need your help to shut them down.
The national energy tax Speaker Pelosi forced her party to support is “likely to be the biggest tax in American history,” according to The Wall Street Journal. President Obama himself said energy costs will “skyrocket” for families and small businesses under a “cap and trade” plan.
We have to stop it.
Please make an immediate contribution of $10, $25, or $50 to help me fight the national energy tax and deliver a common sense “all of the above” energy plan that lowers gas prices and creates new jobs. Every dollar you can spare will help me wage a sustained, public campaign against the national energy tax and in support of my “all of the above” energy plan.

Barack Obama called for House passage of the cap and trade tax bill last Friday by calling it a jobs bill. The bill is designed to raise the price of energy in the U.S. so much that it will reduce the use of fossil fuels by 17% by 2020 and by 83% by 2050. Sentencing the U.S. economy to high cost energy is not a particularly good strategy for creating jobs. The Charles River Associates, a Harvard based economics consulting firm, estimates a net loss of jobs from the bill of about 2.5 million each year.
This is surely a gross underestimate of the net job losses from a bill designed to reduce the use of fossil fuels to the level in 1907. All those soccer moms better get used to riding their horses to the grocery store and back. And their husbands better get used to working the farms again, by hand, as high cost energy will chase remaining American manufacturing out of the country to India and China, which do not suffer from Al Gore’s delusions about supposed global warming.

CFIF – Only the United States Senate stands in the way of what the Wall Street Journal calls “the biggest tax in American history.”
That’s because the Pelosi-led House of Representatives just strong-armed the so-called American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009 (also known as “Cap-and-Trade”) through the House of Representatives.
According to the Heritage Foundation, this massive “national energy tax” could cost the average family “nearly 3,000 per household per year.”
House Minority Leader John Boehner points out that it will “put millions of Americans out of work” as American jobs are shipped overseas or lost outright.
Even President Obama admitted that under “Cap-and-Trade” legislation, “electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket.”
But that’s not all. Apparently, few if any Members of the House of Representatives even bothered to read this massive “national energy tax” before voting on it. Does this sound familiar?
According to Pioneer Press:
“Last week, the American Clean Energy and Security Act (the ‘Cap and Trade Energy Bill’), or H.R. 2454, was 946 pages long. Over the weekend, it ballooned to 1,201 pages with no explanation for how or why.”
Then, to add insult to injury, on the day of the vote, the Pelosi-led Congress added another 255 pages to the bill (which no one had read to begin with) at 3:00 AM (EST) and limited debate to three hours before passing this massive “national energy tax” at 7:16 PM (EST).
And when Boehner tried to read some of the provisions of this bill aloud on the floor of the House, liberals in Congress tried to shut him down.
“Democrats tried to shut me down as I read parts of Speaker Pelosi’s national energy tax (also known as ‘cap and trade’) out loud on the House floor. For more than an hour I cited provisions that will destroy American jobs, raise prices for gasoline and electricity, and devastate middle-class families and small businesses,” said Minority Leader Boehner.
If we are going to beat this horrifying reality… if we are going to defeat “Cap and Trade,” the time to act is now.

Every day is a crisis that government must fix. If it isn’t taking over car companies which end up in bankruptcy or supposedly getting us off foreign oil with the wave of our hands (which would be solved if we could drill domestically and build some refineries!), now it’s health care.
The problem is, once government swoops in on its white horse and takes over, we have no choices left. After bureaucrats run the health system, it will be like dealing with the IRS. After you fill our your forms you will be denied life saving procedures due to costs relative to your age, among other factors.
Not only that, but how much will the FREE health care cost you? Watch your taxes go up significantly, yes, even you poor people who Obama promised would not have an increase. This is something we MUST beat back.

As citizens of North Carolina, we demand that state legislators tell the truth about our proposed state budget.
The truth is that tax increases are not needed to fund over one billion dollars of essential state services because federal stimulus money already fully funds these services.
The truth is that Liberal Democrat politicians have for too long refused to set spending priorities and for the past four years state spending has risen by a whopping 8% each year.
The truth is that North Carolina taxpayers are already taxed too much and that the massive tax increases which you propose will weaken our State and greatly diminish its competitiveness.
Mr. Speaker, it is within in your power to make our state budget process more honest and transparent, and we request that you publicly dispel and denounce the Billion Dollar Lie as an important first step in this process.
Finally, all who sign this petition oppose the false claims being used by Liberal Democrats as a reason to massively raise taxes and oppose the proposed tax increases themselves.
Franken Win Could Be Good News

First of all let me say that Democrats will go to any lengths to win. They will even cheat and count more votes than are actually in the precincts. If you want them shamelessly stealing you vote, you deserve what you get. But here’s the silver lining:
RINOS Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins will no longer have the power they once had now that Democrats hold 60 seats in the Senate! Huffington Post announces that liberals will now start working on moderates and independent Democrats to push their socialist agenda!
So we don’t need to worry about Snowe and Collins in the next election. We can shed them like the bad news that they are. Let’s get back to conservatism and beat the pants off the liberals in the next election. Let’s leave that small man, Franken, all alone in his senate seat. As bad of shape as Minnesota is in, you would think voting Democrat would be a bad idea. But the way they steal elections, that state could be voting Republican and nobody would ever know! We warned you!!!

Following yesterday’s final confirmation of Al Franken as the new senator from Minnesota, thus ushering in the Al Franken Decade 20 years too late, all the talk on last night’s political shows was of the magic number 60. Of course, multiple guests on all the cable talk channels were quick to point out that the new number of Senate Democrats was mostly a formality. After all, over the last 15 years or so, the filibuster has become a matter of course in the Senate rather than the exception to the rule. Almost any major bill requires ending a filibuster before a vote can be taken, and that means all the GOP needs to do is convince one Democrat to cross the aisle.
But that explanation of the meaning behind the numbers is only half right. Getting to 60 Democratic votes in the Senate does represent a seismic shift in power. Previously, it was up to the Democrats to keep their people in line and, at the same time, woo a moderate Republican (read: the women from Maine) into joining the Democratic ranks on a cloture vote. But that is no longer the case. Now, it is the Republicans who must keep their people in line and convince a Democrat to come to the other side. That may seem like a small shift, but it has could have big implications. (You said it – hold onto your wallets! – Editor)
