A discussion about black voters

Allen West is truly an endangered species; a self-staring black man. Rush today was saying the same thing I have been saying for months. Obama knows he’s got the black vote regardless of what he does. That’s why he’s not spending any time there and instead surrounding himself with white kids and pandering to their parents. He’s lost the white vote.
Could it also be that black voters have very little money to give his campaign? Black leaders like Maxine Watters and Jesse Jackson are taking note, but will they vote Republican? Not a chance. There is no money for them from Conservatives.
It’s true some blacks are self-starters, but most have become takers of the welfare system. These people are dependent on government for their meager existence, and as long as they vote Democrat, it will continue. What they fail to realize is that the little checks they get from the government, and the fact they pay no income tax, it does not mean they are not paying any taxes to Big Government. Right now everything is taxed; from cable to cell service. What about sales tax? How about the government regulations that are sending jobs overseas and keeping our country impoverished? Instead, they want to blame the rich people that they are in their situation, not the liberal Democrats and Republicans who have created this mess.
If you look at our black community, how many of them have cell phones and big screen televisions, tattoos, fancy fingernails, expensive clothes, multiple piercings, etc.? They are already mentally “poor”. Instead of investing in things that can get them out of their situations (like building a business as the Asians and Indians do – think service businesses and convenience stores), too many are spending money on instant gratification and waiting for Obama and the Democrats to stick to the rich so they can get MORE of their goodies.
And how much of this “bling” is purchased on credit? And how many of these credit cards go to collection? And because of our “easy money” policy toward the poor, how much of this debt is being written off or government subsidized? Just like the mortgage bail out, people usually don’t learn from continually being let off the hook. Before I go on, I am not opposed to people being able to spend THEIR money any way they want, but they are spending YOURS and MY money.
And please tell me the name of one person who has gotten rich or moved to the middle class from receiving welfare. When has any tax increase on the rich ever helped a poor person?
Besidesm if the poor only knew how little of the money that goes to Washington for welfare actually makes it back to the people for which the program was designed, they might get the picture. An elected official needs to stand up and tell the public the percentage of money that actually goes to the recipients compared to the percentage that goes to generate the government jobs that administer the program (to buy votes?), pay for the administrator’s insurance, retirement, etc.
THIS IS THE REASON WE ARE IN THIS SITUATION! The golden goose is dying! Just as Socialism (and that is what we have no matter what Democrats say) has died everywhere it’s been tried because eventually we run out of other people’s money.
I know this is generalization, but the truth hurts. Why else would so many poor people turn to selling drugs or other crimes to make money? Because it’s EASIER and faster than going to work and building wealth. After all, not everyone gets caught, right?

Obama is Stuck On Stupid

It’s a shame General Honore didn’t leave the Army and run for office. He had the ability to tell it like it is and screw it if he hurt someone’s feelings. After the Hurricane Katrina devastation during the cleanup, the general berated one of the reporters by telling him he was “stuck on stupid.”
Perhaps someone could relay this message to Obama. After all the Tea Parties and Sick-ins, what does he do? He’s back on health care! He has said repeatedly that he believes he just hasn’t explained it well enough. To the contrary, he has made more than a speech a day, most of them on his health care initiative, and we don’t want it. What’s not clear?
Remember the old saying (paraphrasing), “God gave you two ears and one mouth so you would listen more than you talk.” Perhaps Obama should take that advice. Perhaps he is so busy talking (over 400 speeches in one 365 day year) that he can not hear us.
Listen up, Mr. President. I DO NOT WANT YOUR HEALTH CARE PLAN… NOT NOW, NOT EVER!
Sane people must be asking, why do the Democrats keep coming back to this even when the idea is wildly unpopular? Aren’t they there to do the people’s business? If we don’t want it, then why continue spending money and time on this legislation? Who will it benefit? If you guessed Democrats, you would be right… at least that is what they think. In 2010 they will find out the truth. Special elections have already sounded the death knell of liberalism, yet they keep moving forward! It’s like “Night of the Living Dead” where the zombies just keep coming all over again!
Republicans beware. This meeting with the President is a rope-a-dope. The plan is already outlined and there is no bi-partisan compromise in it. No wonder people are thinking third party… nobody in Washington is listening! Are Republicans afraid of being the “party of no”? As Rush Limbaugh says, they should be the “party of HELL no!”
After almost a solid year of fighting off this health care plan with Sick-Ins and Tea Parties, the bickering in the House and Senate from Democrats who should have the votes to pass anything, the Pelosi,”We don’t have the votes to pass it,” speech, here we are again. Why? Because Obama and the Democrats are “Stuck on Stupid!”

What Rush Limbaugh Missed

Rush is so ecstatic about the Scott Brown win in Massachusetts that he thinks it can happen again in California. The problem is, he is backing the wrong horse. Carly Fiorina is the only candidate he has mentioned on his show that is opposing Boxer, but a fine conservative is also running who will really serve the people well.
His name is Chuck DeVore. Currently DeVore is in the state government and his term is up this year. He began campaigning for Barbara Boxer’s senate seat early last year and is Senator Jim DeMint’s conservative choice.
RUSH, WAKE UP, MAN. YOU ALWAYS SAY YOU ARE ON THE CUTTING EDGE OF SOCIETAL EVOLUTION. Show it by talking about Chuck!

Shatner and What Rush Missed

On Shatner’s Raw Nerve Program, an excerpt which may be seen here along the right column, he interviewed Rush Limbaugh. The subject of health care came up.
Shatner said, “If you have money you’re going to get health care, if you don’t it’s going to be more difficult.”
As Rush so brilliantly pointed out, if you have money you’re going to get a house on the beach, if you don’t you’ll have a bungalow.
But Shatner wanted to talk about health care. What Rush missed was, “Okay, Bill, say government takes over health care. Will everyone get the best health care available?” History has shown that government does everything poorly AND it costs more to do it. Just look at the workers sauntering around the DMV and you can see how you will be treated in the doctor’s office if government takes over health care.

This is outrageous. After promising an open and transparent administration where eveyone will be able to see what is going on, Democrats locked the doors to the health care debate. Congresswoman, Michele Bachman, was on Sean Hannity today and said, not only were they locked out, but the locks were changed by Pelosi so that Republicans could not get in!!!!!
Talk about Nazi tactics. This is something you would expect from a communist regime, but not in the United States. To my knowledge, Republicans have NEVER used tactics like these on Democrats. Shameful!
NANCY PELOSI HATES YOU. When the Bush tax cuts expire, she can’t even be honest enough to call them tax increases. What a joke. She is single-handedly taking down the Democrat Party and you are stupid to let her. Blue Dogs are the only ones holding up the health care legislation. Republicans don’t have enough votes to stop it. So you Blue Dogs are the heroes, but will lose your jobs if you vote for this massive spending bill that nobody wants… and Pelosi doesn’t care about you or your political future! Wake up!
To the media, make up your minds. Today you said that the special elections were being run by Rush Limbaugh but only several months ago, you said he was irrelevant. Make up your friggin’ mind! You are a joke. As I pointed out, even 60 Minutes can’t do more than book reports for people they publish and Obama fluff pieces.
Unemployment might be Rahm Emmanuel’s crisis of opportunity. Remember he said never let a good crisis go to waste? Well, with growing unemployment and figures well into the double digits if you add in people who have stopped looking for work and people who have taken part time jobs while continuing to look for full time, we are in a true crisis. I know he thinks this is the perfect time for passing health care, but even with the dire circumstances, people are rejecting this notion. Yet they continue to move forward.
Congresswoman Michele Bachman is putting together a protest on Thursday of this week and escorting thousands of citizens through the halls of the Capitol building so people can talk face to face to the congressmen and senators who have been ignoring their phone calls and e-mails. Hope it works!
The Republican apparatus is becoming obsolete. There is a new conservative resurrection from the grass roots and the old guard is not liking it. Hoffman in NY-23 is a perfect example. After Liberal Scozzafava dropped out of the race because he was beating her badly, she endorsed the Democrat! How is that a Republican? And what about Newt? He has shown he is just a party hack! Palin, Thompson and others have shown themselves as the TRUE leaders of the new movement!
Finally, the just war in Afghanistan is waiting for President Obama to send more troops… No, actually they are waiting for him to make a decision as to whether or not he will listen to his advisers and send more troops. He goes to Dover to sit with the dead soldiers and tells a crowd he will support them, but after winning the Peace Prize, it’s going to be hard to do that. After all, his is a culture of celebrity! He is the worst president we have ever had.

Who woulda thought this? Dare I say, “Women!” Damn it.” We have 35 seconds to bleep that comment. I’m going to poll the staff. Snerdley, do you think we should…? Dawn, should we bleep it or leave it? Leave it. Brian, what do you think? I have three votes here in Florida to leave the comments in. H.R., what do you think? We got about 20 seconds here. (interruption) Okay. I’m good. And Maimone your vote doesn’t matter because even if you vote bleep it you’re over-voted so the comment stays.
The problem is not with women… it is with moderate Republican women… and Maine! Collins and Snowe are Republican RINOS from Maine. They are part of the problem why conservatives can not get anything done when they are in the majority. GET RID OF THEM!

What Rush Limbaugh missed today… was his show. So it was his guest host, Mark Steyn who missed an opportunity when a liberal caller named Jill who was supporting the health care plan said it is a government “option”. It is nothing of the sort. This was a carefully chosen word by the Obama administration pollsters trying to find the right terminology to sell this horrible socialized medicine legislation.
What we are getting from the White House is propaganda. This is something Obama wants, and he doesn’t care how he gets it. If he has to lie, so be it. Don’t let the facts get in the way. And if Jill had actually read the bill rather than listen to her liberal pals, she would see that carefully concealed in the wording are the specifics which, for various reasons and changes to your current plan, you end up in the government plan or are fined if you don’t participate. Hey, they have to pay for it somehow.
Not only that, but the version I read said it would be illegal to buy insurance other than the government options AND it would make it illegal to pay for health expenses ourselves. How is that an OPTION? Jill is another useful idiot who believes in Obama. With people like her there will always be complaints. Obama gets his bill and then the first time it didn’t work, Jill would say we’re not spending enough money on it… no matter what we were spending.
Jill, I have a suggestion for you; get a job and stop complaining. We are becoming a nation of whiners with entitlement mentality. Problem is some of us have to work to pay for your health care even if you don’t. Shame on you.

What Rush missed… Rush Limbaugh is constantly saying Obama’s and liberals’ goal is to return the country’s wealth back to those who deserve it. Although he is right, what he never explains is that those poor people gave up their wealth to buy (either rightly or wrongly) iPods, big screen televisions, new cars, designer jeans, tattoos, piercings, etc. Nobody forced them to buy these things, they CHOSE to spend their money on them, and the entrepeneurs who started businesses to cater to these people earned that money.
It’s as simple as that. So to say we need to return the money to the people who deserve it is ludicrous. Obama and liberals are taking the Robin Hood theory of robbing the rich to give to the poor. The problem is this, in Robin Hood, it was the King and his cronies who were TAXING the people and stealing their wealth while the peasants squeak by. In our case, it is the politicians who are telling us they are trying to redistribute the wealth are actually the ones who are stealing it!
Does the gas tax hit the rich or the poor? Tobacco tax? National sales tax if it gets implemented? Social Security tax? Medicare tax? What about the internet tax on telephone and cable bills? In fact look at every bill you get from your utility companies. You will be able to identify at least one federal tax on each of them. Tax the rich? Everyone in the US is rich by liberals’ standards, and that’s who is getting fleeced! Wake up!

There must be some Democrats out there that are sane. I feel sorry for them. What must they think as their party gets hijacked by liberal whack jobs pushing radical agendas? Of course, they probably still vote the ticket, so I guess they are getting what they ask for.
As Clinton pushed the country to vote Republican and create a majority in the House and Senate, so will Obama’s radical ideas push the country the other direction… hopefully in 2010.
Rick Santelli is going to be a new hero by saying what we all are thinking. Why should we bail out people who can not or will not pay their mortgages? Well, that’s what’s going to happen with Obama’s next socialist agenda item. What it will do is artificially create a bottom in the market. Properties that should have gone to the banks and resold to people who can turn them around will now be kept off the market by people who will never pay their mortgages, no matter how much help they get. Almost $800 billion later we will be back to the same point only a lot poorer!
More Culture of Corruption
And what about Charlie Rangel? He is on the committee that writes the tax laws so he should know them, right? So why isn’t HE paying his taxes? Instead of going to jail or having his wages garnished, he gets to write the laws that the rest of us have to follow.
I’ll use the Animal Farm quote again, “Some animals are more equal than others,” and this guy is certainly one of the “some”.
Biden’s Prophecy
Remember back before the election, Biden said we would be tested and people would find out that Obama would do things that looked like they were the wrong thing to do at first, but that we needed to just go along with them. Are these liberal socialist bills what he was talking about?

Rush Limbaugh says it all the time. People only have so much emotional reserves. With the Obama crisis after crisis, I think people are tapped out. I hope those who voted for him are taking a good look at where our country is headed and how losers are being rewarded and achievers are being punished. Take that!
Sidney Portier Speaks Beyond His Experience – What Rush Limbaugh Missed
With tons of government experience, Sidney Portier is urging Obama to do to ALL executives what he did to executives of companies that received bailout money: cap their salaries at $500K. What about movie stars? Then I think it should apply to Hollywood too. But liberal Tinsel Town Celebrities are getting special concessions from the government already. Watch out, Sidney, be careful what you wish for!

Republican or Democrat, whatever happened to common sense? What’s good for the goose is good for the gander, right? Remember all those stories about how car company executives flying around in corporate jets were “out of touch with reality” in Obama’s words?
How about this? We found out today that Democrats flew Democrat from Ohio, Sherrod Brown, into Washington from his mother’s wake and flew him back on a private jet just so he could be the decisive 60th vote on this massive pork spending bill.
As Rush Limbaugh says, “Democrats are judged by their intentions, never by their results.” How true this is. There is no accountability because there is always an excuse as to why it didn’t work. When talking about the stimulus and comparing it to the Great Depression, politicians didn’t say the New Deal didn’t work. Sort of, but they said it was because FDR didn’t spend enough money quickly enough.
On another note, look at former Carter National Security Adviser, Zbigniew Brzezinski (Try saying that ONCE, let alone three times!) showed up on Morning Joe show on MSNBC talking about the disappearance of the middle class and class conflict. He went on to say that people are aware of this extraordinary wealth of a few individuals and are resentful of it. There could be riots! He said congress should get involved! (What does he think the stimulus bill was?) What Rush missed was… WHO IS THIS GUY TO TALK? HE IS ONE OF THE RICH!
And what about Rahm not reporting his free rent as income? What is it with these Democrats. On one hand, I see that it’s unfair for the goverment to get a piece of the action when someone gives us something for free. But they made the rules and now they don’t want to follow them. I thought paying taxes was patriotic? This is the most amazing example of intellectual dishonesty I have ever seen. Democrats create the tax rules, then we find one after another of them are not paying theirs! How about repealing the tax laws so we can ALL benefit you big, fat liars???

When you think of Democrats, remember this. Here is a list of things they have opposed and laws they have passed:
- Tobacco – yet they are depending on their taxes to support health programs
- Transfats (NYC)
- Salt (NYC)
- Big Oil and domestic drilling (even as price per gallon continues to rise)
- Nuclear power
- Coal power
- Big Business (Wal-Mart)
- SUV’s
- Cell phone use in vehicles
- Seat belt laws
- Headlights on while running windshield wipers law (CA)
But they won’t pass a law to keep animals off the owners’ laps while they drive! At least, not yet.
Local Finance Guy On CNN
Last Sunday our radio finance guy said he is going to be on CNN this week and to send in questions to Carmen@cnn.com… Problem is, the message keeps coming back! My question?
“I have owned my home for over 10 years. We have been faithfully making our mortgage payments all that time. But as I watch what is happening in the economy with all the bailouts, what is supposed to motivate me to continue paying my mortgage when congress is getting ready to forgive people who are not paying theirs? Why should I continue to pay off my debt when others are being given a free pass?”
Could it be they don’t want a question like this on CNN because it might BE TRUE??? People are doing it right now! Even after getting a sweetheart refinance, these same low-lifes are not making their payments anyway.
One Question:
If none of the congressmen and women had time to read the stimulus bill before they voted on it, WHO WROTE IT? And what happened to the new open administration that Obama promised us? Okay, so that’s TWO questions.
Final Word
It’s probably not the FINAL word on this, but for years, the American economy was not regulated or propped up by government. It worked fine. We had unprecented growth for years. Fortunes were made without help from elected officials.
So why all of a sudden the only people who can fix our economy (which is not really all that bad) are Democrats who want to spend, spend, spend… OUR money!
